Welcome

Our all-volunteer library is located at 103 Market Street (around the corner from the Oxford Museum), and our mission is to promote reading for all ages. New rental books and free loan books are available for anyone living or working in the Oxford area. We feature a children’s section, local authors and artists, area history books, and a variety of fiction and non-fiction books.

Each year, we hold a book sale on Oxford Day in April; in the summer, we run a children’s reading program. Their reward is an Oxford Highland Creamery Ice Cream! Visitors, including boaters, can browse shelves of books for sale.
